Not yet...
So, I am sure most of you were sure that my next post would be of the little guy, but nope, not here yet! Today is my "original" due date but my official one is Monday, August 4th, so I still have a few days. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday and if I haven't had him by then the doc said we would discuss what I want to do. I assume to just wait till the due date and then maybe be induced but I would like him to come naturally cause inducing just doesn't seem all that fun. Just so this post isn't so boring, here is a picture of my belly at 38.5 weeks. I am taking one every week to see how much I grow... I think they look pretty similar but you can see some growth. Also, I still am not too uncomfortable, sleeping isn't impossible but I am sure I don't sleep as well as when I am not pregnant, and really I am not dying to get this baby out like I have heard. I guess I have it pretty easy but I am NOT complaining about that. However, every since the 4th of July, I seem to swell more and more, not everywhere, just the feet and hands. Hands aren't that noticeable but the feet... oh boy...! Last night I made about 10 meals to freeze and that much standing took it out of the feet. I didn't get a picture of those, but the one here is a not so bad shot. Enjoy! Hopefully the next post will be of the new guy!

Ohhhhh, your poor feet! Pregnant in the dead of summer, I feel for you! You know, I was induced with both Savanna and Lilly and it wasn't that bad at all. With Lilly, they gave me the epidural right away after starting pitocin and with Savanna, the cervix softener thing they start you with actually put me into labor so I didn't need pitocin. Hopefully, you'll just go on your own. Good luck and I can't wait to hear how it went!!!
Good luck Rachel. Motherhood is bliss, even late at night. Enjoy it!
Not long...and I can't believe those feet!!
ack! your feet!
Really, you look great! And I'm so glad that you are comfortable and don't need the baby out right away. They know what they are doing, your little one will be here before you know it :) Can't wait to hear all about it!
Wow, I love how positive you are. :) I'm so glad that your pregnancy has been going so well and that you can sleep! Count your blessings! And I can hardly wait to see pictures of the lil' angel. You're going to be a great mommy.
That's good that you're not dying to get the baby out! I swelled up like that with both pregnancies. Good thing is that it goes away pretty quickly after the baby's born! Hopefully it won't be too much longer for you!
Tell the little Zubi to get his tail on out! WE want to see the kid!
Good luck! We love ya!
Hey- I thought you were in class on Wed. thats why we didnt call you! :( Sorry. Love you!
Hej! keeoing our fingers crossed for you this weekend! My brother just had his first little boy and he's the sweetest thing. Here in Sweden though, they usually don't induce you until you're overdue by a week or more so that you get a fair chance to "get started" on your own. Well I'm off to Primary now, let's see whether I'm encouraged to have children or not when I return ;)
Wish you all the best. Looking forward to the reports!
