New faces

Here is the latest face from Lincoln. He has liked all the food he has tried except pears, he just doesn't care for them. So I mixed them with barley today (which is also not a favorite) and after every bite he did this face and a mmmm sound (not like a good mmm but I have to eat this mmm). This is mostly going up for Luke so he can watch it, as he is away at a conference this week. I also put captions to the pictures on the previous post.

Lincoln is getting so big - and absolutely adorable! What a cutie! And the new place looks fun! Glad things are going well with the move and school.

He is just so cute! He has the best faces, I can't get enough of his pictures. And I can't wait to see more pics of your new place - it looks fantastic from what I have seen!

What fun faces! You asked about the foods we feed Ivy... she was begging for more than just rice cereal at about 6 1/2 months, and around 7 months we started giving her the Gerber baby food and rice puffs. You can buy the flavored rice puffs in a canister in the baby food section, and I think they're great to start with because they melt in their mouth so they only need to chew a little bit. She's getting tired of them now and she's better at chewing, so I'll probably give her Cheerios soon, but they were her favorite for two months and I'd recommend them. She also really likes the freeze dried fruit you can buy in packages on the baby food aisle, as well as the biter biscuits, but we didn't give her those until she was about 8 months. It's just whatever they're ready for when you feel like they're ready for it. We're trying to give Ivy real food now, but she's not such a fan yet... oh, well! I guess she'll eat when she's hungry enough! :) Good luck!

I forgot to add, Ivy's Dr. said she should be up to eating solids 3 times a day by the time she was 9 months, but she really only likes it at lunch and sometimes dinner.. I'm sure you'd want to work up to it though. Maybe starting with a breakfast and dinner feeding, then adding lunch after a little bit? Just my thoughts. Good luck!
